Girls don’t bite. Read how easy it is to ask someone out.

Wednesday at 8 pm, a girl has just finished her dinner and is relaxing. Her phone rings. It is an unknown number. She answers the call, and towards the end, the conversation sounds something like this:
Guy: Hey, how about we meet up? What’s your schedule look like this week?
Girl: I’m busy Tuesday and Wednesday, but I’m free on Thursday.
Guy: Okay, cool—how about we meet up Thursday at 8 p.m. at “The News Lounge”.
Girl: That sounds great..

Ask someone out. Write your own telephone conversation in a notebook. Act it out with your schoolmate. If you are doing this exercise alone, record yourself. Play both roles.

Think about rejection. What if a person you ask out says no? How would you feel? What could you do to get over it? Have you ever been rejected? No? You need to get used to the idea. What would you do if you were rejected?
