Alex: Oh, no. It’s pasta again. We had it yesterday, didn’t we?
Yes, but today we have macaroni and yesterday it was spaghetti, wasn’t it?
Luke: What’s the difference? I wish it was meat lasagne. You love that Italian cheesy dish, don’t you?
Alex: Yes, it’s my favourite too. It’s much better than pasta, isn’t it?
Luke: Indeed. Why don’t we leave the school cafeteria and go to the school yard. We can have a chocolate bar or chips, can’t we?
Alex: That would be great, but you know perfectly well, that we are not allowed to go out without Miss Trench’s permission. If she catches us outside we’ll be in big trouble, won’t we?
Luke: Oh, come on, don’t be so wet. We have done it before, haven’t we?
Alex: That is why we spent so many hours in detention last term, didn’t we? We don’t want to get into trouble again, do we?
Luke: All right, all right. I give up.
