The picture describes a therapeutic horseback riding. The rider who has special difficulties (for example cannot walk properly), with the help of therapists exercises different activities. A team, usually two therapists, provide a relationship between the horse and the rider.
Horses move slowly and mime the human walking and this promotes the rider’s balance and coordination.

Horses can be gentle, sensitive, smart and sensible, and they accept people and even allow them to climb on their back. The horse can detect our emotions. They look for the trustful and self-confident person. Horses are herd animals and follow certain rules. They except people as a part of their herd, but we are positioned in the hierarchy above them.
A therapist establishes communication between the horse and a child or a teen. A good therapist tries to help the child or a teenager as well as shows a high level of knowledge how to work with the horse. The bond between the therapist and the horse is very important.
The idea for the foundation of the horseback riding school in Starošince was inspired by a true story of a 15 year old teenager, who got ill from cancer.
The main idea is to introduce the horseback riding therapy which calms riders and helps riders to walk, talk, connect, focus, behave and learn. The video clip encourages positive behaviours and inspires to live life as fully, productively and independently as possible.
