For teenagers it is important to have good role models who can set positive examples. Pop stars, successful athletes, and popular movie stars, for example, can serve as inspiring role models. However, young people are more strongly influenced by the role models they can communicate with and know personally. There are four main groups of people that represent teenagers' role models. Listen to the recording and find out which groups are mentioned in the descriptions.
Finally, in pairs, discuss your role models. To which of the four groups discussed above do they mostly belong? Write a short paragraph into your notebook. Follow the instructions on page 3.

Check the ‘Grammar Log' below to learn how we say that something is possibly or probably going to happen in future. Next, read the introduction about the role models and listen to the text again to spot such sentences. Write them down in your notebook and then check if you did it right. Use the expressions in your own sentences, too.
Write about your role model. First, read the questions in the questionnaire above, then, write down your answers in your notebook. In groups, compare and discuss the answers.
