For me, there is only one downside of travelling-reaching the destination. My holidays are usually only a fortnight long and I really don’t like wasting my time on the road, so I like to reach the desired destination as fast as I can. This means of transport enables me to come to far away places relatively fast. To be honest, I don’t enjoy it much, but I wouldn’t say I suffer from aviophobia.

This mode of transport is, at least in my opinion, by far the best one. You are free to do whatever you desire: you depart when you want, you make a stop if you need to go to the toilet or just stretch your legs, and you get to choose who sits next to you. Thus, you avoid small talk with strangers which is something I find uncomfortable. It’s easy to bridge long distances and it’s a relatively cheap way of moving from point A to B.

I don’t like wasting my time sitting and waiting to reach the destination, this simply doesn’t work for me. By using this mode of transport I do something good for my body, I see the things I otherwise wouldn’t see and it is definitely not true that you can’t travel far using it. You can go around the world if you want, but true, it’ll take you some time

Living in a city offers the privilege of being close to everything I need: workplace, shops, library and all my friends. I normally walk around the city, but when I go on vacation I use this rather old-fashioned means of transport. I like it because it’s not that expensive and it doesn’t require my attention so I can do all sorts of things while travelling. I can read, gaze out of the window, use my tablet computer or talk to engrossing strangers. You’d never believe how many interesting people I’ve met there.
