You feel confident about your reading comprehension and are ready to move on to the next set of units. You probably read a lot in English and you should keep up this practice. It is advised to read different texts from newspaper articles, blogs, novels to journals to be familiar with different styles of writing. Read British and American texts and pay attention to the differences in the vocabulary.

You feel your reading comprehension is fairly good. If you wish you can read the texts in this unit again because reading the texts for a second time will help you notice the words and language structures you perhaps overlooked the first time. You can also google for texts and news articles about dailt routines of people around the world, learn interesting things about them and at the same time practice reading. Or find an interesting English book on the topic that interests you. Reading a little bit every day can further improve your reading skills with almost no effort.

You are aware of your weak reading comprehension. There are several things to improve your reading skills. For starters, you can read again all the texts in these 4 units and do the related activities. You are advised to read short articles in one of the magasines for teenage learners of English, read online blogs on topics you like or maybe you can grab a book do a little reading every day. You may find it difficult at the bedinning, don't put down the book if you don't understand every single word in it. Gradually it will become easier because some of the words are going to be constantly repeated, you will notice the use of tenses and other grammar structures and slowly you'll be more and more comfortable with reading in English.

Speaking English doesn't seem to be a problem for you. That's very good  Continue doing what you do and remember that you can always play around with pronouncing difficult words aloud, reading the texts in the units pretending to be someone else or speak with different accents. To avoid getting rusty, find a schoolmate, friend or family member and speak English with them. Practice describing and comparing people, their daily routines or current activities, pronouncing difficult words. There are so many interesting things you can talk about and at the same time brush up your spoken English.

You are quite happy with your English speaking ability but you feel there is still room for improvement. You can practice reading aloud and pronounce difficult words seperatedly. Listen to the recordings one more time, focus on the intonation and try to read in the same way. Also try to find a schoolmate or friend speak English with them. Practice describing and comparing people, their daily routines or current activities. There are so many interesting things you can talk about and, most importantly, have fun speaking English.

You are not happy with your English speaking ability. Is it because you did not do the tasks in this set of units properly or you actually have little chance to speak English with someone? For starters, you can do the speaking tasks in these units again. For the future, find a friend or a family member to speak English with you. Don't be embarrassed and get rid of the fear of making mistakes. You will be surprised how quickly your spoken English gets better. You may find it a little bit strange to talk to him or her at the beginning, but you'll see it's guaranteed fun!

It's good that you can use print and e-dictionaries. Have you already made a selection of your favourite ones? Check a few entries in all dictionaries you have, and see which definitions are most suitable for you. Be selective and pick the dictionary that best suits your needs. You are quite confident when searching for information online and using it for your purposes. This is an important skill and you will be able to further develop it in the next set of units. Compare the definitions of one word in several dictionaries, that may help you choose the one you like the most. You seem to be good at searching for information online and using it for your purposes. Stay critical about the information you find, always check more than one source and avoid the ones that are potentially dangerous for false information.

If you are not used to using dictionaries, talk to your teacher and ask him or her to recommend one that would suit your needs. Using an online dictionary is way faster but if you browse through printed dictionaries you might stop at illustrations or other entries that appeal to you and thus you can pick up some more new words. To improve your internet search skill, you need to practice and be critical of the information you find. Don't look only at the hits on the first page, open more than just one or two pages and critically compare search results. With some practice and critical approach you will eventually become more skilled.
